The presence in the house of a person with liver disease is a serious problem. Metabolism and digestion suffers a significant decrease in activity even with small failures in the liver. With deteriorating state of health should immediately seek medical attention. Identify the causes of the disease, to determine the diagnosis and diet can only be planned by a doctor. Dietary food helps to reduce the activity of the liver, to facilitate its work, while maintaining a set of elements necessary for an organism.

Used a few years ago the diet in chronic liver disease were excluded from the diet of foods that contain complete protein. However, on such diets as a result of long-term clinical and laboratory investigations have refused because the patient is not receiving a full protein, lost resistance to all kinds of infections.

Modern dietetics encourages persons with chronic liver disease, the power supply system as much as possible like a healthy diet, but, of course, somewhat different. Restrictions apply, above all, quality and quantity of fats consumed. The diet should contain easily digestible protein and carbohydrates.

Protein is required for the regeneration of liver tissue, for that the patient should receive 1.5 – 2 grams of protein per 1 kg of body weight. Carbohydrates are the main source of energy as fat intake is limited.

Recommended butter, cream and some vegetable oils – olive, soybean, sunflower, corn. Due to the need to spare some of the diseased liver products and dishes should be removed from the diet.

The patient should take frequent small meals. It is best to divide the daily ration into 4-6 receptions. Dishes should be neither hot nor too cold. Important way of preparing them. Soups need to prepare the vegetable broth, as recommended fruit and vegetable soups. Excluded soups on meat broth. Vegetable soups fill a small piece of butter or cream. You can thicken pureed vegetables or fruit, and flour. Fried charging for this diet is not recommended. Some types of soups can be refilled or non-fat powdered milk (vegetable soup, potato, fruit). It is desirable to add them finely chopped dill or parsley.

Especially needed food containing proteins. 

The components of animal proteins have a healing effect on the liver, protecting it from degeneration of cells. Meat and fish should be served in boiled form, but the meat or fish extracts are not included in the diet. If the patient’s condition improves, your doctor may allow the chicken, turkey, veal or fish, baked in a skillet without fat in the oven parchment or foil, the “wonder-stove.” To vary the meat and fish dishes, fish, beef or veal, cooked in vegetable broth, served with the same vegetables. In cooked meat (or fish) completely different taste, if you sprinkle it with tomato sauce or sprinkle with lemon juice, sprinkle with chopped herbs (dill, parsley). Baked meat is tasty with fruit, for example, apple.
